Eating While At Convention

The Basics

We're excited to see you all at the LeConte Center in Pigeon Forge. As is customary with most venues, outside food is not permitted to be brought into the facility, so we wanted to give you some ideas to alleviate frustration and keep your family well-fed and joyous the entire weekend long. (Please note: if you need to bring small snacks in your bag for yourself or your children, we don't expect them to be patrolling that. We believe the spirit of that rule is for meals and larger snacks.)

There is a lot of beautiful outdoor space and several tables available right there at the facility, so if your family brings or orders in food (recommended) there are a lot of great places to get some fresh air and sunshine and enjoy it. (Maybe you'll want to bring a frisbee too and join some other families in some mid-day exercise. :) )

Onsite Concessions

The LeConte Center will be making concessions available at several outlets within the center. Following are the offerings and prices from the concessions onsite. They have done a great job with keeping prices very low for us. In addition to what's listed below, there is also a coffee shop selling Starbucks.

Other Ideas

Some locals have told us that restaurants in Pigeon Forge are struggling with similar staffing woes that have become so prevalent, so we wanted to give you a lot of different options and ideas to try to alleviate frustration as much as we can. With that said, the LeConte Center is just a walk across a parking lot to the Island in Pigeon Forge, which has lots of fun things to do and places to eat.

Bringing your food from your cabin, hotel room, or home is a great way to have an easy lunch. It's pretty easy to plan ahead with a cooler full of sandwiches and chips, salads, wraps, etc. And, there are supermarkets nearby if you want to pick up some pre-made options the night before.

Getting your food delivered is another fantastic way to avoid frustration. When we were researching, we found that most delivery services offer a lot of fee free options to the LeConte Center. That way, you can place your order early and enjoy sessions or shopping while you're waiting for it to arrive.
