Because You Asked-- Teaching History Together

"I appreciate and love your ideas on together time and reading subjects together as a family. I have wanted to do this more but have found it hard with the ages of my children. I am wondering what ages your children were when you started this (mostly doing history together as a family)? I have found at this point doing a separate read aloud time with my younger kids and older kids works really well. But, I have not been able to successfully do history together as a family. Also, do you have a recommended history curriculum or books that you used with your kids that worked well doing together as a family?"
